About the Valla Beach Community Market
The Valla Beach Community Association (VBCA) hold a market from 8:00am to 1:00pm on the first Saturday of every even month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, and Dec), focusing on home made and home grown local produce – food, arts, crafts and fantastic musical talent. It runs at the Valla Reserve (also known as “Lion’s Park”), at Valla Beach, a serene and peaceful seaside village. Remaining dates for 2020 are:
- June 6
- August 1
- October 3
- December 5
The location is next to the footbridge across Deep Creek, at the end of Ocean View Drive, and just a kilometre or two from the Pacific Highway. Head towards the Valla Beach Tourist Park and turn left just before the entry – just follow the Market signs! Click here for directions.

Supporting the Community
The market is an initiative of the Valla Beach Community Association to raise money for the protection, repairs and positive growth of Valla Beach along with creating an avenue for networking and bringing the community together for good times and great bargains.
The markets contribute funds towards projects at Anderson Park and we are now almost there. We have already outlaid over $15,000 towards a childrens playground and seating, and have installed shading over the playground at a cost in the region of $26,500. A second seating area, including a cover, has also been installed. In addition, work was completed to improve the drainage on Anderson Park which will make is much more usable after periods of rain.
